2016 Donations & Container Packing Information

Greetings and Thank You!

Dearest Friends,

VERY GRATEFUL GREETINGS!

We are EXCEPTIONALLY GRATEFUL to each of you who have SO KINDLY BLESSED our Zimbabwean Nation…THANK-YOU for helping to create countless Miracles, answer numerous Prayers, bringing hope, light and love to our People and to help them feel of God’s love…As we say in Zimbabwe, TATENDA!!! TATENDA!!! TATENDA!!!…THANK-YOU!!! THANK-YOU!!! THANK-YOU!!!

Since initiating EYES4ZIMBABWE 20 years ago it has been quite an adventure, what started only as an eye project has reached into MANY spheres of GREAT NEED during Zimbabwe’s exceptionally difficult times…Along with our current 96% Unemployment, Zimbabwe has also been severely challenged by a TOUGH drought as the rains which usually come in November and last until April, ONLY came in April until May!!! Most Farmers were forced to replant 3 – 4x and by then, it was too late!! The ‘World Health Organization’ has since declared Zimbabwe a ‘State of Emergency’!!

It is difficult to quantify just how important these donated humanitarian items might be…For some Children, that donated book might be their ONLY book ever…which will teach them to read and to write!! The donated newborn kit might be enough to entice a Mother to make the LONG often times dangerous walk to the local clinic (for medical assistance) rather than giving birth in her mud hut which ultimately might save her and her baby’s life…Allowing her Children to be raised by their Mother!!

Each year we are challenged with how to purchase, fill and to pay for the shipping of these containers…And each year it has been our privilege to watch COUNTLESS ‘miracles’ unfold, we are sure that this year will be no different, Faith DEFINITELY proceeds the MIRACLES!!!

It is impossible to count the MANY BLESSINGS which surround the packing of these containers, but we do have a SURE Testimony that it is The Lord’s SACRED WORK!! THANK-YOU for your continued Love, support and kind generosity…As we say in Zimbabwe, “May God BLESS YOU!!”J

THANK YOU

We would be SO VERY GRATEFUL for Newborn Kits…Most times Mothers live far distances from local rural bush clinics and have to walk long distances weeks before giving birth in order to be nearby to give birth at the clinic. Makeshift shelters are used by sometimes 150 soon-to-be Mothers while waiting to give birth (On one occasion we stopped at one of these shelters and found 150+ Mothers whom we gave newborn kits to.) By having newborn kits at these remote medical clinics, it encourages Mothers to make this long, arduous journey knowing that their new baby will be clothed…By giving birth at the clinic where there are medical staff to assist, this will often times save both the Mothers and newborn Baby’s life!!! It is AMAZING to think that a simple newborn kit might change a life so dramatically, and in reality, we KNOW that it does.

Please be sure to THANK each Person who has SO VERY KINDLY contributed…We are VERY, VERY GRATEFUL!!

We look forward to seeing you all starting on Thursday September 29th, 2016 (7:00am – 9:00pm)

If there is ANYTHING that we might assist you with, please just ask!!

With MUCH, MUCH THANKS & GRATITUDE,

Reeve, Laurette (Lolly), Cecilie (CC) & MANY, MANY VERY GRATEFUL Zimbabweans!
