Sun glasses/ Reading glasses

Sunglasses for post-op cataract surgery patients. Since a cataract surgery is so traumatic on the eye, sunglasses are needed to protect the eye towards the sun, wind and dust after surgery. Reading glasses are for those who are not needing surgery or for those who have cataract, however not yet developed enough to be operated on.

General Medical supplies

Everything for a hospital (NO medicines and EVERYTHING has to have a shelf life for at least 12 months due to time enough for shipping, clearing and distribution.

‘Nourish The Children’ – food supplement

It is a Rice/Lentil mix we received from a donor in Utah, USA. Just add water and/or oil and you have a GREAT supplement for a meal.

Crutches/Walkers

Flashlights

Due to the lack of electricity, many people would LOVE to have a wind-up flashlight when walking in the bush or staying at home

Candles

Due to the lack of electricity, many stay in darkness from sundown. Cantles are the best substitute for electricity.

Seeds

All seeds to grow vegetables are needed as that is a way for them to feed their families.

Candy/sweets

Many Zimbabweans cannot afford sweets/candy, it is therefore a great joy to see them eat something sweet.
