Dearest Family & Friends, VERY GRATEFUL Greetings!! This year has been FILLED with WONDERFUL Miracles, BLESSING lives in REMARKABLE WAYS…MUCH, MUCH THANKS to each of you for your LOVE and SWEET KINDNESS to our Zimbabwean People…As we say in Zimbabwe, a GREAT BIG “TATENDA!!! TATENDA!!! TATENDA!!!” This year due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be packing our large EYES4ZIMBABWE 40’
Read about a fun surprise we had the opportunity to be a part of for a sweet nurse named Precious and the orphans at Makumbi’s Children’s Home in Zimbabwe.
On Thursday morning my Mother went to ‘West End Hospital’ to have a medical procedure. While we were waiting for her to go into surgery, we shared pass-along cards with a number of the hospital Staff. A few of them shared how they had seen the young Missionaries in their areas and also identified our beautifully built Chapels.
The Nurse who was assisting my Mother shared how she had met the Missionaries while they were visiting with her Friends and that their young nine year old Son had started attending Church and how her Friend was now also attending!
VERY HAPPY THANKFUL Greetings from France!
THANK-YOU!!! THANK-YOU!!! THANK-YOU!!! Or as we say in Zimbabwe, TATENDA!!! TATENDA!!! TATENDA!!! THANK-YOU for your sweet kindness and Love to our Zimbabwean Nation…You have created countless Miracles and answered numerous Prayers, bringing hope, light and love to our People, helping them to feel of God’s love…THANK-YOU!!!
Since initiating EYES4ZIMBABWE in 1996 it has been quite an adventure, what started as an eye project has reached into MANY spheres of GREAT NEED during Zimbabwe’s exceptionally difficult times…Each year we are challenged with how to purchase, fill and ship these containers…And each year it has been our privilege to watch the COUNTLESS ‘miracles’ unfold, we are sure that this year will be no different, Faith DEFINITELY proceeds our Miracles!!!

ZimbabWeCare joined up with Eyes4Zimbabwe to help bring medical care and supplies to those who live way out in the Zimbabwean bush.
A year ago, Eric Rose came to South Africa with his wife, Brandie and his sister Tami to visit his parents Connie and Bob Rose, who were serving a church mission there for ‘The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints’. He LOVED Africa and was determined to come back. His vision after hearing of ‘EYES4ZIMBABWE’ was to bring his own medical team along with much needed donated medical supplies and do an ‘outreach program’ in the Zimbabwean bush and to assist those that needed it the most.
Three-year-old Archford was born with bi-lateral cataracts and was blind in both eyes. With Eyes4Zimbabwe’s help, he can now see.
Our friend, Terry Banda (a distant relative of Archford) contacted Reeve to ask for ‘EYES4ZIMBABWE’S’ assistance…
Two weeks ago when Lolly and I had an opportunity to travel to Zimbabwe for a few days, Reeve asked us to go to find Archford and offer to take him to Harare to be examined by our good Friend, Dr. Chinogurei (Ophthalmologist) to see if he might be a possible candidate for a cataract surgery.
