While visiting Morgenster Hospital we were approached by the hospital staff there. They asked us if we were willing to meet with HIV affected children who would come with their guardians/parents the following day. They would gather together for a while to share the challenges of living with HIV and for the children to feel loved and cared for. The children would also play together. We were So excited to be given this opportunity to meet them and we were SO grateful for the donated items we had brought with us. We had gifts to give them!
We had such a fun time playing with them and getting to know them. We brand new clothing, candy and toys and it was fantastic to see the exciting expressions on their little faces. What a Blessing it was for us to be able to help them and brighten their day. A day everyone would remember! Again it shows how effective all the donated items are. We are SO grateful to everyone who have donated items for Eyes for Zimbabwe. We try to put them to great use! THANK YOU!
HIV Children at Morgenster Hospital
During our time at Morgenster Hospital Reeve organized for us to meet a group of HIV orphans and their 'guardians' as they had a meeting with all the children. It was amazing to see them as we gave them clothing, food, toys and sweets. They were So excited! Chosen children for sure!
